I think somewhat deflating for the Tyros5 folks.

The typical Hank Marvin sound comes from the use of the bridge pickup, that he sometimes mixes with the middle pickup for a more "nasal" sound; the amplifier, however, is also very important.
In his early Shadows days Hank used a Vox AC 30, coupled with a Meazzi ribbon delay; later, however, he went on and tried different amplifiers, but always derived from the AC30 original design, like the Matchless DC 30.
Even for a guitarist it's not easy to replicate "that" sound, so I have to commend the sound engineers at Yamaha because the Tyros comes really close and I guess that, with the new DSP in the Tyros 5, the resemblance will be even greater, as the first demo (Theme for young lovers) seems to confirm (even if the playing is at times a little shabby).

I'd love to know if the Korg pa4x can get close to this Shadows sound.

It's a factory Keyset (formerly called Performance}. I got it from one of the styles and saved it to a memory for quick access.
