it is him demo the unit it good to see a arranger guy playing a main streem unit

not much different these days between so call main stream unit and a unit like a Tyros

also there is another vid out there with Burt form Yamaha in a booth in the booth PSR 970 Tyros 5 Montage and Reface it goes to show anyboay who thinks Arrangers are not pro style keyboard that the mood is changing out there great too see

I am getting Montage 7 when it comes out it a Awasome Keyboard and can see my self using along side of Tyros 5

And that is how a keyboard should be demonstrated . This tells me the montage has not been doing so well sales wise and Yamaha had to pull in their best demonstrator Martin Harris to rescue sales . And he has done a splendid job . Demoing a keyboard at the end of the day cannot be focused around the technology . Super knob or no , people want to hear music being created and not just button pushing .

The montage almost sounded as good as a tyros 2 or 3 . However the tyros has a better sequencer on it and a more bread and butter playability . Still it was a great demo !

I assume that was irony. Tyros 2 and 3 had shabby grand piano, ridiculously bad big strings etc.
The new Montage piano and strings are whole different league, of course. Still, it will never be my instrument (neither will be the Tyros, unless it ever comes as a module).

to compair the Montage to a Tyros 2 is just simply not informed at all

I said I assumed that was irony. Glad I was right. But still, the demo had bad sound again, no wired stereo recording, so it's hard to get the real quality of the samples here.
