I was there when they where doing this and I thought it was not good they where not even playing full arranger type it was just not good at all Casio Missed the mark at Namm in my oppinion .

That is not a demo.....


That is 2 random Namm visitors playing an arranger for the first time...


And thats not meant to be a joke, but a true statement, these guys also made the livestream from Casion on Namm, Casio allowed random visitors to play with the instruments..

they are not random Visitors. the guy closest to the camera is a world class well known singer/writer/composer called Frank Mccombe. he did numerous demo for Korg on the M3 , SV1 etc back in the day and is simply a hired gun.

This demo was not his best work for sure and the noise at namm is not a good place to judge anything.

obviously the MZ X500 isn't ready for market yet..who knows when that will ever happen..

On the stream you saw them arive, play for 15 minutes and move on.. They played mostly the 560 and 5S. But also tried to get some sound out of the arrangers, but they had no clue at all to opperate the arrangers..

On top of that, you just cant judge the sound of an instrument from a NAMM floor demo... I can only tell people to wayt for a studio demo if you want to judge the sound of this under $1000 beast...
