Overhere in Holland we have a tallentshow for real musicians, its called singer songwriter and requires you to sing and play a selfcreated song...



This is just one of the songs, very dark and something i like.

the thing that actually surprised me most, is the fact that there seem to be more piano/keyboard players in this competition then guitar players.

It's nothing new...
Here a few years ago we had a talent show called platinum Hits

I dont think both shows can even be compared... One is based on artistic values... While the other is based on getting rich with music...

Let's face it,..... it's all about "WHO YOU KNOW" in this business if you wanna go that route..
what fills stadiums, tours, and who can make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for the label.
There is so much talent out there but only 1% ever makes it through to stardom.

Thats true, and thats why the dutch show is the best chance these musicians have to learn a lot of insiders in the dutch musicbuiseness..

I dont think this will be the people that fill stadiums, but it will be the people that write the music for those that fill stadiums.. There is a lot of people with good voices and great looks, but there is only a few people that can write top music..

Unfortunately that is reality in this ugly world. Today they make music or a movie, and nobody is talking about how good is a movie or a song/album. It's all about how much money will it make or not make.
Just Bieber generation.
