Brian, It's FINE! I don't mind listening to country. Vince has FUN with this one.

I just don't like to play it!

Brian, great job. I've never done this song, but probably should learn it! Guitar was totally believable!

Brian... clap keys clap Really nice job on this tune, I really enjoyed it, thanx for sharing. Made me think of a song I do by the tractors "Baby Likes To Rock It" both have that great Country Train Beat. Great guitar work also but I did notice however to MY ears your recording lacked some fullness & bottom end EQ wise. I took the liberty to run it thru one of my programs take a litsen A/B them both let me know what you think. And please more, more, more of your work it's a pleasure to listen to it! headphone ...

thank you

"What The Cow Girls Do"

Brian,

Yes in deed - very well done both the vocal and guitar work.

Man I had to listen twice and it was just as good the second time too.

Brian, this is great. Nice guitar emulation throughout, and the singing is really good...very natural.

Apparently, old Rory Louis Reel MacNeill, my grandfather, spoke Gaelic and little else...I know a few words, mostly the naughty ones.

Again, fine work on the tune...please share more stuff.

Ian

Using Garage Band with my BOSE T1 mixer via USB into a MacBook Pro(2007). Channel 1 vocal and Channel 2 was E60 left mono out into BOSE T1 . The Style was a UPG I created a while ago for playing out live. Country rock 175 Beat.
I tried my condenser mic for the vocal but it was picking the keystrokes as I was playing and feeding back so I ended up using an old no name PAX dynamic mic.
While creating the recording monitored via headphone jack out of the MacBook. Garage Band mixed it down normalized it(I guess?) and created an .aif file. I converted that file to mp3 using a free program called Smart Converter. The BOSE only allows for mono recording. I do have the Apogee Duet which I use for Acoustic Guitar/Vocals but will try as that as well. Thanks for the encouragement and yes the floodgate has been opened wink . grin
Cheers!
