Don Mason probably knows more songs than anyone on this forum - bar none! When he gives me an assignment, more often than not, it's either a song I've never heard, or just never tried. This one falls into the first category - never heard it prior to a couple hours before I recorded it. The Song was performed by Elvis, Gatling Brothers, and others, and the original was in 3/4 time, but the more I listened to it, and read the lyrics, it screamed blues to me. So, not being all that bright, here's the 4/4 blues version. Better They Are, Harder They Fall Gary
