Can there be more than one BEST OFFER at the end of the time period? Would I have enough time to consider multiple offers OR does eBay only permit one offer at a time? Right now I have 8 watchers and would hate to miss out on getting offers from more than one bidder.

a "best offer" is sent to you as a bid to either approve or disapprove. It's your choice if you want to accept an offer, unlike a bid, which you are contractually obligated to accept unless you end the auction early.

You can get multiple offers. I just got burned by a guy that made a great offer, then vanished. I had to wait almost a week to go through the resolution process before I could relist the keyboard.

check make the buyer pay upon bidding via Paypal ONLY!

Like Donny says only accept payment through Paypal. Make sure you state that on your auction so bidders know up front. That is the only way you can be assured of getting paid.

And be aware, that when you agree to accept a best offer on Ebay, you cannot require instant paypal payment. You have to wait for the buyer to pay. If the best offer buyer doesn't pay after two business days, then you have to start a "non-payment" investigation, which can drag on for a week.
