Ok as promised I had a little time today took the S-950 inside and recorded my version of "Mary Did You Know" for all to hear....using Mixcraft to record it on my PC.:
Instruments used,...Live Slide Steel, Sweet Soprano Sax, Gothic ox, Live Allegro Strings, Sweet Violin
I used the Country Ballad style & vocals right thru the
S950 KB also,...being a NEW song to me till I heard it on SZ last week it took me about 4 or 5 takes but finally got it,....

enjoy my friends headphone

Happy New Year to All

Well, Donny, for a newly learned song, this is an impressive recording.

The style worked perfectly, and your vocal was very good indeed.

Nicely done, my friend.

Ian

As we say in Italy: "La classe non è acqua!"
A classy job indeed, with mucho fuego e mucha passion.

VERY nice job Donny ... didn't expect anything less ... thought I heard a little bit of 'Englebert' in the bridge smile ... clap clap clap

I find it very interesting to hear how different S-Zers have interpreted this beautiful song ...
Nicely done ...

I thought it was a bit too fast, but really nailed the vocals and instrumental.

Cheers,

Gary

Wow, I have to say I'm REALLY, REALLY impressed. I must have missed some of your earlier stuff 'cause I had no idea you had such a great voice. Great expression and feeling too. Real talent there for sure. The only tiny criticism I would have is maybe turn the volume down a hair on the guitar and take a little of the treble off (the guitar). Otherwise, spectacular. Beautiful song too.

Thanx Chas.....appreciate the critique...as I said this was a rough single take....with some calm and some multitracks I know it could be done a little better.

Happy New Year!
