I discussed with Andrea a few days before on this forum. We talked about the Pa3x, and he gave me an advice to go and try.
That's what I did : I have tested the pa3x and the pa900.
I end up buying the pa900 because I really like all the sounds and there is not much difference with a pa3x

So I sell my piano yamaha p155, two guitars and a mixer at the music shop and in exchange I get :

the korg pa900
and
the new yamaha MoXF8 really incredible


Andrea told me to get the pa3x, but there is much difference in price and the pa900 has all the pa3x sounds.

Instead of buying the pa3x now
I prefer the pa900 and will sell it to the shop and get the future pa4x,
they say it will be a real killer...

Also my decision is made when I listen to Tony's song he made with a korg pa600, I love it

I am waiting for the pa900 and the Moxf8 in exchange of the yamaha p155s , 2 guitars and a mixer !

I am glad for you: the PA-900 is a heck of value for the money and I like that its display is bigger than the one in the PA3X; plus, it has onboard speakers and 128 notes of polyphony.
Did you try the PA3X 76 or 61?

Yes, but there is sooo much more on the Pa3X - the ability to use DSP's with the Acc voices, can't do with the Pa900 - also more DSP's available - BUT, I love the larger display on the Pa900 and it can load in SF2 files for your own voices - hard decision to make.

Just as sure as I trade for the Pa3X, the Pa4X will be released the very next month - happens every time!!!

I tried the PA3x 76k
the keybed is excellent, the one on the pa900 is very good too
of course the pa900 doesn't have 76k but this is less important to me as I prefer to play arranger stuff in 61k and piano stuff on the moxf8

in fact I've been thinking a lot and admit that all the stuff the pa3x has more than the pa900 are not so important to me actually for the price.
I thought I would go for a top model so I will not regret afterward... but I prefer buying the pa900 now and if I can, I will change it when the pa4x comes.
I tries and tested a lot , and each time I came back to the pa900, I have to admit : personally there is no big differences that could justify the price to spend now.

I played on my new pa900 last night. wow.

Really great.
The amplification and speakers are really amazing.

now, I will make some tests and connect it to my laptop with Ignite , play with the new sounds on Ignite and make some sequences n recording stuff. I am very interested because Ignite can record audio too. After the test, I will make some tutorials.

Tony, if you can, get the pa900 , I can't imagine yor voice with the TC Helicon 3-voice Vocal Processor with 4 dedicated effects !

If Korg release a new PA4x, it would probably in the year 2015 I would guess. But I hope it comes out sooner. Enjoy ur PA900. I still got my PA1X lol it's an old one from back in 2004 I think.
