My old Dell has a Creative X-Fi sound card installed.

My question is what is the probability of it working on my new old Dell. Years back, I seem to recall that I had to change the BIOS, or set a jack, or something like that.

I have the Sound Blaster CD.

Providing you have a matching slot to plug it into, there should be no problems.

NOTE: Download the latest driver & software for your card from the creative website, as it will be more recent than what came on the CD.

Hope this helps

Bill

It should be OK as long as the 'tower' is the same size ... without realizing, I went to a 'small' form tower and the card did not fit ... had to buy a new one ... computer
