This seems to be an overlooked feature, the s950 now has an "auto power off" thing, which apparently shuts off the power after a specific amount of time.
From the manual:
5 Auto Power Off
This sets the amount of time that elapses before the power is automatically turned off. Press the [4 ]/
[5 ] (AUTO POWER OFF) buttons to set the time.
NOTICE
Depending on the instrument status, the power may not turn off automatically, even after the elapse of the specified period of time.
Always turn off the power manually when the instrument is not in use.
They probably did this to make it more "eco friendly" or something like that.
But, here's the thing,
Would you want your keyboard to shut off by itself? Is that reliable for a gigging musician???
