I am happy to see that Frank the owner of Hybrid cases has taken my suggestion of producing a case for the Tyros 4 and 3 and now has a medium duty case, about 20 pounds, (which means it should have the same weight as the old YBTYROS and Kaces Porter III KKP-9KB both soft cases and no longer made. It's made out of luan plywood, the reason for the lighter weight.)
A heavy duty case is also available. He didn't waste anytime, as I ordered mine on Friday and just happened to look on Sunday and see they are up already. I explained there wasn't much to our liking out there for cases and told him to post it on ebay and so it'll come up on a google search. Lo and behold here they are! After all of this time. I am quite proud of this accomplishment. I hope this makes things easier on all Tyros owners.

If you own a Tyros 2, you might want to get the one made for the 4 in case you want to move up to a T4 later. They do have cases for the T1 and T2.

Scott congratulations on getting the case you wanted, I know from our exchange that you did your homework. That is an accomplishment getting Hybrid cases to customize the case for Tyros 4. Let us know how you like it.

I contacted the case company today. Turns out Frank the owner, at my suggestion and using my specs put things in motion right after we talked Friday to make the Tyros 4 and 3 cases available as a regular production case to fill a need for some cases that we keyboard players would want in a quality case. I stressed the issues of weight, dimensions and of course a good price.

The parent company is apparently Hybrid Case Co. They have a number of divisions on ebay: islandcases, nycase, pockettrunks, casekits, etc.

They also have a division called Road Cases USA. I don't completely understand this marketing strategy, but I guess it works.

Here's another ad for these cases on Road Cases USA:

Here's a partial list of their clients:

Here is info on the lightweight luan plywood that is used:

I will be writing a review after my case arrives.

I see another Tyros 4 case has been added, an ATA Glider:
