Summer is a great time to find some fantastic workshops. Several years ago I went to the Aebersold jazz workshop/camp in Kentucky. I wish I could return every year but time and money is an issue... If you can, I'd highly recommend a workshop:)

Hi Paul, interesting how our musical backgrounds share similar paths.
I attended jazz camp west in the late 80's & early 90's.
Got to work with Tuck & Patti, Bobby McFerrin, Mark Levine, Larry Dunlap, Bobbe Norris, Faye Carol, Madeline Eastman.
What a memorable time that was. cool

Jamie is still very active....recently did a Jazz Arts Foundation performance on the public access channel. Still sounds great. I got copies of his first performance at this venue a year or so ago and sent them to members here who also played sax.

I met him in 1964 at the St. James Court art festival in Louisville.

Really someone to admire in the music business.
