Mercy Mercy Mercy: using LH rootless chord voicings: cool

On an arranger that supports rootless chord recognition,
simply add the auto-accompaniment rhythm section and you'll have a fully compatible backing, to go with this rootless chord piano style playing. cool

Thanks Scott....Mercy Mercy Mercy was one of the tunes we taught in Yamaha's Electone course.

If you play this way (as in the video) on a Korg, Ketron or Yamaha, the song will sound as it was written...unfortunately, if you use the auto accompaniment on a Roland arranger, you will not get the same results.

Playing authentic matters to some, and to others, it is less important.

With Korg, Ketron, and Yamaha, we would at least have the choice.

Great video.

Ian
