Very neat TWD...I suppose if the organ sound was critical to you (and it probably is), it would definitely be worth the cost and extra fuss of taking along a module.

The KeyB stuff sounds about as good as the XK3c, at least from the demos I've heard...which is darn good.

And, speaking about cost...how much is it? $800, or thereabouts?

Sorry - no idea of the price, although I doubt you would even find a used XM2 for $800. In all honesty, I don't realy think its for T4 owners..I just wanted an excuse to use that topic title laugh The KeyB gear is much more specialist and aimed at people who know exactly the sound they are after. I doubt very much that it will end up on arrangers. But I thought it was interesting enough to make a post here.

Certainly it would be good for a keyboardist to add that Hammond sound to his rig...best to be controlled by a synth action keyboard.

I hope I get to try one some day.

The best clone I've played so far (for both feel and sound) was a buddy's Hammond XK3c double manual with pedals, through a stock Leslie 147.

It was just like being at home. The action is the best I've ever played, other than a real B-3.
