And Frank even says make him an offer he can't refuse, now where have I heard that before??

Tony,
you should buy your Audya here in Norway. Price reduced from £6710
down to £5480 at the moment, but I'm sure you don't have to beg hard
to pay the "full/ordinary" price.
As far as I understand it, the more you pay the better it will be?
Conlusion:
You paid far to little for your Audya, or else it would be perfect!

Cheers
GJ

Btw, I'm gonna wait till price is rised even more before buy Audya.
Then I know for sure I'll get a real wondermachine ......
Tyros 3 and PA2X Pro cost only £3690 here at the moment, so I guess
that's not worth concider at all?
Well, that's of course if it's true that pricelevel mirror quality.

Jonny I thought it was been creamed in the UK why the high price in Norway, perhaps the dealer only order 1 that's not an AJ 1 BTW. If you paid that much money for a KB, you would be bitching all the way back to the bank, no wonder you are sat on the fence. You stay there I don't think there is a OS4, I think its a trick! I think if you go to Italy you will buy the Audya in the high street for a couple of grand £2000.00

Manufactures charge according to the market.

Norway is very affluent which is why they charge more.

UK Middle Class = Norway Pauper.

Ahh, so the rule is, if you have more money than me, you should be charged more
when we buy the same product?
Compared to i.e. Yamaha, Roland and Korg, Ketron most have been looking into some
different statistics when establish the pricelevel here.
Also if they're aiming for volume sales this is the wrong place to twist up the
earnings/profit, because population is only 4.9 million people here.

I think a lot of KB price in Norway goes to pay taxes. 25% salestax, and probably some customtax, than the shippingcost to the dealers are also quite high. It wouldn't supprise me if factoryprice is the same as to any other country. May be the dealers also like to make a little bit more money on a sale, than in the US.( really don't know)

I think you are right Skude, I thought it might be high import tax and maybe greedy dealers, sure the factory price must be the same, according to the currency.

No imort tax at all, elektronic music instrumens are duty free goods, but there are 25% VAT
to add when take it in to the country. Also the shipping cost will be added VAT.
I've checked it out at the custom/toll office.

Jonny,

I think you are close to getting an Audya, come on tell the truth. Miss a few mortgage payments and you get one, you will soon catch up.
