I just got my new PSR-S700, which sounds good but I realized voice selection is pretty limited comparing to his big brother. As a long time motif user, I'm just jumping to the PSR arena, is there somebody who can provide me those PSR-S900 voices? if possible, Is it feasible to load current PSR-900 voices on my PSR-S700? Currently I can't afford to get anything more expensive.

It can't be done. Sorry. You can add S900 and other Yamaha model styles but they will need some tweaking for the voices that are missing on the S700.

Some voices will be able to load, but if the S900 has any of those signature voices you're looking for (that are not on the S700).., you cannot load these into the S700. The S700 does not allow you to import sample data. If one of the voices edited on the S900 is an overlapping voice on the S700 then you're good.

The obvious answer you'll get from members here is to UPGRADE. However, if money does not allow (as you've stated) then you obviously have to get the best you can afford.

thank you for the quick answer, It's pretty sad It cannot be done, PSR-S700 is not particularly cheap, I should have bought PA-500(now for sale for $1200 or even the OR700 for around the same price, currently PSR-S900 is out of my league. I'm truly disappointing about this limitation, will have to hook it up to my motif rack xs to get more voice selection when I play live. Will see how this goes. After all seems like we have to pass the $1700 mark to get something decent here.
