Tony just sent me a couple of tunes, and he now occupies a place as one of the best members, in terms of pure musical abilities.

Plus, the dude has a GREAT VOICE! Whouldn't you know...the shy ones are the ones who are "happenin" (watch him like a hawk, Lydia).

He has a place in my list of "pro's" here, for sure.

I really appreciate him sharing his material with me.

Russ I already knew that about Tony he makes that Technics arranger sound great......but with all the privacy tunes going around that's where it stays,...
on YOUR personal list ......how else can it be if no one else can hear anything? It's the same old story with posting songs/demos etc.

Posting here is totally up to the player. I understand. I don't post here, because none of my music is recorded as stand alone tunes and I don't use an arranger to record. The one time I shared a film score rough, it was to share what I do for a part of my livelihood. It's not likely to happen again.

I don't even have a demo disk.

That being said, I really appreciate hearing Tony. And, I'd love to hear others, but that's entirely at the option of the individual. Some frequent posters here have bigger egos than talent, and that gets a little irritating, sometimes.

Everyone has the right to post or not, and I respect the individual choices members make.

Russ......to me sharing each others work is a learning experience, anyone today can do a simple recording of themselves to share. .....much more can be absorbed listening vs all the conflicting opinions & peepee contests....nothing more. After all we are talking about playing keyboards right? In any event

The comments don't bother me, NONE of us is going to please everyone, and after 50+ years people are still hiring me, so I must be pleasing someone ...

The biggest problem I feel is not the 'constructive criticism', but where the thread leads between those that might like the tune and those that don't ...

Posting for me is a bit of a hassle, as I do not have a web site, but perhaps I will post again soon ...
