Its always fun to see what others are working on. Here's a few quick questions that should get a nice discussion about some of our songs...

1) What's the last rock or oldie type song you added to your regular shows?

2) What's the last standard you added?

3) What's the last country tune you added?

4) What's the last pop tune you added?

5) What's the last hymn or song of faith you added?

6) What song are you tired of playing right now?

7) What song should you bring back that you haven't played in awhile?

8) What's a song you'd like to add but haven't yet?

My responses:

1- Personality - Loyd Price
2- Memories of You & Moon Love
3- 16 Tons
4- Circle of Life
5- His Eye is on The Sparrow
6- Alley Cat
7- Only You or Just The Way You Are
8- A Phil Collins tune....

Your turn!

Bill ... Coincidence that you should mention this song.
This past July, the fellow who was our 'lead' vocalist in the band we had in NY for 26 years passed away - he was about 13 years older than the rest of us.
At his funeral service, his family played a recording he had made prior to his getting sick. The song was "His Eye Is On The Sparrow". The recording, although not professionally done was excellent - his voice was strong and true and it truly felt like he was there singing to us. There was not a dry eye in the Church ...
This is a fine selection by you.

well.. Nice idea since some of us still are waiting for Tyros3
----------------------

Its always fun to see what others are working on. Here's a few quick questions that should get a nice discussion about some of our songs...
1) What's the last rock or oldie type song you added to your regular shows?
"Far far away" (Slade) - made in a chacha arrangement! Looking forward to try it real life..

2) What's the last standard you added?
"Isn't it romantic"..

3) What's the last country tune you added?
Erhhmm.. Have to admit that I'm a bit behind on that.

4) What's the last pop tune you added?
"Just the two of us"

5) What's the last hymn or song of faith you added?
Well I let my daughter do those. She's working as a chirch singer

6) What song are you tired of playing right now?
Several.. But "tired" in another way than the question asks.
Since my hearth attack I don't have much air for singing. That's where my daughter comes in.. We've started a duo since the h.a.

7) What song should you bring back that you haven't played in awhile?
A LOT .. I guess... When they bring the Tyros3 in
Specially some big band swing music, that I found a bit to "heavy" on Tyros2.
I'm looking forward to the more dynamic Tyros3.

8) What's a song you'd like to add but haven't yet?
Several. Most some newer danish pop music that I don't feel I'm able to play well enough yet.

Sorry - not at all very specific, but then again - I tried to answer my best
