In the T2 you can set markers in midifiles/ songs and jump to that part of the midifile..

This allows for much more freedom while playing with those midifiles. I can for excample repeat the chorus 3 times after eachother at will..
It suddenly makes playing with midifiles more attractive to me. As i get some of the freedom back i am used to have with my styles.

Now are there any other arranger keyboards that allow for this?

My Roland G-700 has all of this, and I presume the E series does also.

G700, Bernie? We've been wondering when the new Roland arranger was coming out!

But seriously, all the current E and G-series Rolands have four Markers you can put into any sequence.

It really helps blur the line between SMF play and arranger play...

I just found out that Korg Pa800 and Pa2X also can use markers.... but they are only accesible through the touch screen.

Hi Bachus
The Wersi (From OAS 7) has 8 markers which can be assigned to the style buttons, (Intro, Fill etc) the drawbars can also be assigned to the tracks, so you can have independent physical volume controls for each track if required.
The OAA has up to 18 parts, (At present) but I am not sure if it has been fully merged with the sequencer yet, (The extra buttons are on the touch screen) it’s certainly been merged with the style converter. (If it has not yet been implemented it will in the future)
Aren’t modern instruments wonderful?

Bill
