I love the WorshipSlow and WorshipMedium styles on the Tyros 2. Has anyone tried to convert them for a PAxxx?

Hi Graham,
meant to actually ask ( on the korg forum), are you mainly trying to convert just the odd style to PAxxx format, or were you hoping to do a heap of them.

The conversion process can be time consuming depending on how the conversion turns out. It's the editing after the conversion that may take time.

I've got a few that I really like on my psr1500 & there isn't an equivalent style on my PA800.
For those styles I'll spend the time and edit to get them right.
Others I just run thru my emc & if I need them one day , I'll tweak them.
best wishes
Rikki

Hi Rikki

I worked my way through many of the PA800 styles in my local store but could not find an equivalent to these 2 worship styles, so I'm just thinking of converting the odd style.

Hi Graham,
as you may have already read in the other post, the Worship Slow on my PSR1500 converted quite well, found a couple of issues with abrupt volume changes in the intro's & endings. It's a beautiful style which I'd be happy using myself, so I'll try & fix it & send you a copy.
It appears to be the same style as on the T2 but my psr doesn't have megavoices.

I ran the T2 Med. Worship thru EMC also. It didn't convert as well as my Psr style.
Even playing it thru my psr1500 doesn't sound particularly brilliant.
I'll see if I can work out whats wrong.
I think I also have a psrs700 version of Med Worship, hopefully it may work better.

best wishes
Rikki

Donny, I'd be much obliged if you sent me a copy of those as well.

Hi Donny,
could you please send me a copy too.
I'd luv to work out why my conversion intro 2, the bass & guitar was twice as loud as the rest of the style.

I've had a couple of problems with my new EMC XT upgrade.

best wishes

Hi Rikki
If the style uses Mega voices, then they will not convert to other boards very well, as they are Midi loops with extra effects added, and so have to be controlled directly by the appropriate style software. (Upper/later Yamahas or the Wersi OAA)
If you do try to use a normal voice, then you will spend months tweaking it, but it still won’t sound correctly.
Hope this helps

Bill
