Our friend Tony showed up at my gig today for a visit. It was good to see Tony we compared some notes on our keyboards. Little does DNJ know he made a 3 minute appearance via an MP3 recording he did recently on his PA800 of "A Lovely Way to Spend an Evening." It sounded great played back the MP3 player on my board.

Tony took a few photos, here's one of my Korg setup with the Roland CM30 cube monitors

Not a bad program at all with that fish bowl!!

Zuki, likewise I'd like you to see you live as well. 4 gigs in one day!! I'm sure I could learn a thing or 2.

Donny, yea you're Mp3 really sounded great. As far as that CM30s on mic stands the are working out very well, nice clean sound that really compliments the PA800. Java Madness holds between 60 to 70 people in an L shaped floor plan CM30s fit in well here.

Donny ... I'm ALWAYS looking to learn from the masters !!! ...
BTW ... what Steve failed to say was that I lip-synched to the mp3 and made a few sheckels in tips myself !!! ...

Seriously, I enjoyed listening to Steve and hearing the PA800 ... The rhythms/styles I heard sounded really good, although (and I'm NOT looking to start a 'debate'), I found the sax sounds somewhat lacking ... I suggested to Steve that he may want to 'tweak' them with a little more reverb, which might help ...
All in all, between the kb and the CM30s, Steve had a nice sound and does a good job, as witnessed by the tip "BOWL" ...

Tony, there are so many different Saxes you gotta check em all out.....& most have to played correctly to get the best out of them velocity wise etc, etc, .....
the RX technology is amazing on the Pa800.

Happy New Year to all my good buddies on SZ.
