I believe he is using a style that features guitar arpeggios rather than he plays the guitar himself, isn't he?

Burkels... Guitar Mode on the Korg is similar in some ways to the Roland method, but they take it one step further, and allow you to trigger the mode from the arranger section. It is a huge improvement for arranger players over the Roland method, that only allows you to play it 'live' or record it into an SMF.

We should try to get Roland to address this, as they were the first to come out with this kind of technology, but have been left behind by Korg in it's usability.
