MagicScore School 5 is notation software for music aficionados, students, teachers, schools and colleges. The program offers people interested in music a variety of notation options input, editing, printing, correctness check and much more.

MagicScore School 5, as the name implies, has been specially created for folks who are learning music, but professional musicians can use it as well. Notes can be entered manually, copied from another source, added through the virtual piano, MIDI keyboard or synthesizer. MagicScore School 5 is also capable of reading notes from MIDI and Karaoke files, as well as recording MIDI and Karaoke files. The program is also capable of printing blank staff notation sheets.

This program also supports Music XML format to import score from music scaning software. Works with Windows Vista.

I missed it. Just saw this post today.
I have yet to find a good inexpensive notaion software. Has anyone downloaded this software and tried it out? How easy is it to manually key with a computer keyboard or a mouse? Ease of changing or deleting notes?

Starkeeper, I didn't download the software myself but do check your mailbox.

I downloaded it and installed it. I haven't really used it. It looks great. In fact I probably never will use it, but you can't beat the price!

I used and installed it.
Looks like a nice interface, but worked
very sluggishly on my system when midi files
are played, so I deinstalled it.
Even worse is that it is really a 30 DAY
Free TRIAL, and NOT a free software.
