I'm doing a gig with a Hawaiian theme. I'm trying to remember some decent songs for this. Here's what I've remembered so far with that feel:

Hawaiin Wedding Song
Blue Hawaii
Red Sails In the Sunset
Bali Hai
Hawaiin War Chant
Drifting And Dreaming
Song Of The Islands
Stanger On The Shore
Aloha Oe (EEeeeeeekkkkkkk!)

Any others you can think of? That's as far as I got on it.

Scott

Best of luck trying to do authentic Hawaiian guitar licks without a Chord Sequencer to free up your LH for the bender!

Diki,

That's why arrangers have a hold feature for the left hand. All it takes is a little skill and timing.

Cheers,

Gary

Thanx for the ideas. There were a couple real standards I just plain forgot about.

Speaking of Tiny Bubbles, does anyone have the version of the words to this song sung as Tiny Boobies?? One of my students used to sing it and was pretty funny but a little risque.
