To me, they seem to be like photoshopped oiginal images, or worse, CAD grapics.

The E60 has 76 keys yet the top of the range E80 only has 61 notes, where is the logic in that? Surely you'd think they would put 76 notes on the top end one similar to what they did with the G1000, VA76, G70.

There is not allways logic in everything.
Why should it be there?

it is not a real image of course (i wonder why - maybe no real products yet? ), neverthless it gives good idea about the model.
do you like this model?

Surely it's a CAD rendering, but it's not so far from the real appearance of the prototype that I've seen in Frankfurt Musik Messe.
I think that the purpose of the image is to have an idea of the user interface (lcd, panel, switches, functions, etc.) and not to show the real look of the keyboard.

o3bor,
what do you think about the real product then? how did you like it? was it a functional model?

At FMM both E-50 and E-60 were functional models; the E-50 was played in public demos by a talented musician and some units were present in the 'hands on' zone.
I think that E-50/60 are 'light' versions of E-80, for users that are looking for an easy-to-carry arranger with nice sounds and features, and that accept to renounce the impressive on board amplification and features of E-80 because of its size and weight.
