Well... Yamaha did asome job. Look’s & sound's good so far. After 9000pro it will take only short time to ajast. Generaly it will satisfy lots of musician depending there needs. For me I am coming long line of keyboards .I use to have Roland d50 G600 xp80, korg T3 i3 i30 pa80, and I still have Ensoniq TS10 & PSR 9000 PRO …
And now new T2.
Now about T2 vs. 9000pro. In my opinion without expansion board’s 5 time’s better
With 4 time. 1-sound 2-key 3-locations 4-lcd 5-27lb Tonight I am gono install memory & HD and load my style’s & sound’s and I will try to keep update’s about my opinion.
I apologize for my short explanation. Hopefully tomorrow I play some demos.

Hi there.
Can you please let me know what memory and hard drive you are installing as I want to install decent ones when my Tyros 2 arrives.
I was going to opt for a 40GB drive but an 80 is only a few pounds more so I may as well be greedy.
I've not located any 80GB 2.5" drives that are 7200 rpm yet, I was hoping for maybe a Samsung or Western Digital.
Thanking you.

Roel, just curious..The hard drive you are using...is it a standard 3 and 1/2" IDE hard drive, or can we get 7200 RPM, 2 and 1/2" hard drives?

Thanks Roel, I'll have a good gander on the net as finding a 2.5" 7200 in the UK is proving to be harder than I thought.
I've e-mailed Yamaha and left a voice message so someone should get back.
I've also realised that the Yamaha Club magazine in the UK is based where I live so I'll give them a buzz. I may even get to speak to Glyn Madden (famous organist/keyboard player for those not in UK).

Hello Craig
There is a 60Gb drive on this site, but it is expensive, (Look under Hitachi) so I would stick with a 5400rpm drive, but make sure it has a 8Mb buffer. http://www.lowestonweb.com/Products/DisplayInfoMain.asp?e=52878419-EB07-4EBA-9284-DD8D03D0A8E0
Hope this helps.

Cheers for the link.
I've spotted the 80GB for just a little more so I think I will go for that. It is expensive so I'll compare some prices on Google to see if anyone can beat it.
