Lots!!!

Went to a "Gazebo" concert this evening put on by a 5 piece country group I'd heard a few times. Tonight they were sooooo much better... a new sound system, but primarily because of a new sound man. I'm sure I was the only one there watching him as much as the band. Eyes usually closed, listening and feeling the music, working the controls like a master... really. What a different... the sound was outstanding... flawless.

And, oh yea, I got his card.

Not to forget that a bad sound man can really mess things up!

The value of a good sound man you have already experienced.
Brett Wales. Wersi organist covering the UK Organ Society Circuits normally has a sound person with mixer sitting middle of the audience from here a true balance and volume can be achieved.

I don't use a sound man for my singles, duos or smaller trio jobs, but for larger jobs, I use a company called Pyramid sound. This is a large regional sound company that provides sound and equipment for all the largest touring acts. The company is owned by the son of a lifelong friend and music store owner who recently passed away. I do a lot of promotional work for the company. We trade out. About 6 times a year, they provide equipment and personnel.

We've been working so long together that it's always a joy. I just leave equipment choices...everything in their
hands.

You mean like the one who programmed the factory settings & internal sounds on the Roland G-70?
