Do you believe that in your country in the
last two years the number of musicalinstru-
ments that have been sold is rising? Or
is this number going down?
What is your explanation?
Can we play a role in this proces?

I do not know exactly how it is but I see
that in the last 12 month more than three
musicshops are closing their doors.
I guess the reason is not enough musical-
instruments are sold.
This is in the Netherlands.

Musical friends and german colleagues do
have the opinion that in their country the
number of sold instruments are going down.
The decision of Technics to stop stands not
alone.

No great response, this means that other
countries have the same problems as the shop-
keepers in Germany and the Netherlands.
Intelligent shopkeepers do not tell around
when things are going backwards. They prefer
to keep their mouth shut, waiting for better
times.

I think you are right, if the news is not so
good it is better to say nothing.
Or perhaps very carefull.
We must keep the music alive.
