Denis, curious why you're particularly interested in the Roland RA-800. As a former RA-800 owner myself, I assume you've already read my opinion of it : http://www.synthzone.com/ubbs/Forum37/HTML/009960.html , but if you still really want one, here's a link to what it's currently going for on eBay:

I sold my RA-800 for around $900 US dollars several years ago. I think you'll find a lot better sounds & styles on its succesor, the Roland G1000, though it of course isn't available as a table unit.

Hello Scottyee,

Thank you very much for your comment.
I totally agree with you on the non-practicality issue, especially during live performance.

The reason I am looking for a module is that I completely stopped performing as a one-man band due to my extremely busy schedule. I recently sold my X1 because it became very "dusty" under my bed.

I am currently playing in a rock band where I am using my Motif ES6. Amazing machine! I love it.
But, I would like to have a module in my home-studio setup for practicing. So in my case, size is more important since I don't need another full keyboard to take my studio space. I considered X4 too but it is too big and too expensive for a "home usage". Also, I have a pretty nice collection of Roland styles that could be handy.

I know there is a guy in UK selling RA-800 on e-bay but I am wondering if the price is little bit high for an 8 year old model.

Thanks,
Denis
