Since I own the Korg PA1Xpro I noticed how Korg Italy is communicating/helping customers.
Please visit http://www.irishacts.com/forum/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=35

I'm happy with the Pro ánd the support of Korg.

Merry Christmas to all synthzone-members !

Merry Christmas Roel to you and your family!

I'm a little confused. Irish Acts is a private BBS system. What does that site or the threads on that site have to do with Korg support from Italy?

Were you referring to a specific thread on that site?

Al

Hi Al,
It is a private BBS, but it looks to me mr. Tramannoni is one of the Korg-team members.
(like AJ for Ketron)
He is very helpful and seems to be a kind of 'gateway' to Korg Italy.

Hi Roel,

Sorry to disappoint you there, but you know I have been an avid fan and user of KORG, the PA-80 in particular.
Irish Acts is a wonderful Korg site run by SHARP, who happens to be Irish, and was originally the home of Korg synthesizer users.
About three years ago RicFreak and I were instrumental in getting all Korg arranger users to find a home at this site, which , I repeat is a wonderful site for ALL Korg users.
In itself it has nothing to do with Korg Italy, with whom I have had several clashes in the past, and their customer support was far from being ideal. And that goes for Mr. Tramannoni as well. They are helpful if it fits their mood or convenience. So I would not expect too much from Korg Italy. But that should be no problem cause all your prayers will be heard at Irish Acts !!!!!

Merry Christmas
John

John is right Roel: Korg support leaves much to be desired, then again don't they all. I'm sure all manufactures aren't that great with support.

Roel: How do you like the PA 1X? Is it all they promote? Are the sounds and styles much different than the PA 80? Give us a review if you don't mind.

Thanks John!
So I'm slightly too optimistic here....

Synth_guy:
I swapped the to PA1XPro yesterday because the PA1X model did not fit well in my desk and I do not need the speakers at all. (The keys feel much better)

I'm not able to compare it with the other PA-models because I simply don't know them

The PA1XPro sounds very OK in styles and sounds.
I hope to be able to study the operating manual the coming weeks.
