How hard or easy is it to select and play midi files while also just finishing style play?

can it be done or does it need to be put in song play mode first?

1)Select the song (even while playing style)
2)Press "Play"
Style stops - song starts.
Easy, isn't it?

Also storage of midi files are done with the USB drive?

Midi files can be stored into internal memory or PCMCIA card; both of them can be accessed and managed via USB

Have you owned other arrangers? like the Tyros, Korg, Ketron? how does it compare?

I checked other arrangers, but owned only Roland. This is just a personal preference, so I don't want to make comparison with other instruments.

The mic input has a dedicated effect, vocoder, harmonizer and an interesting Auto Pitch function that can automatically tune the singer according to a melody track (I guess you don't need it ). I think it is very useful and cool for one man band and karaoke applications.
