I read in a review somewhere that the Roland VR-760 (a board I've been eyeing as my next one for a few months now) does not have a transpose function. Can one of you gracious VR-760 owners confirm or deny this? That would be a show-stopper for me and push me toward a VK-8M to be controller by XP-80 or JV-90.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it will transpose (-6/+5). You can also use a control pedal for the leslie in addition to the D-Beam and switch.

The VR transpose is hidden inside one of the menus. It's not that difficult to use once you learn the OS, especially if you use that feature often. But, it is not as easy as pressing a button up or down. You can program a pedal to do your transposing, but I can't remember how, offhand. I love my VR760, but have you read the posts regarding the G70?

Thank you guys so much. This puts the VR-760, back in the running. Excellent! Very excellent!!!!! I don't need a dedicated button. So long as I can transpose within about 5-10 seconds that's plenty of time. Ya know, you're at a gig and someone wants to a sing a song you know, but they ask that you play a key a higher or lower and I can't transpose on the spot for some songs, that fast. If I'm just chording around maybe, but if I'm playing a lot of notes and or the chord changes aren't simple.... that function (transpose) is awesome.
