After hearing the favorable report from Uncle Dave, as well as others, I decided to get serious about the L1.

I enrolled in a muscle building class so I could carry it and armed with new confidence visited my local Tucson GC.

After some negotiating on my trade in equipment we struck a acceptable deal and now all I have to do is pay for it.

Having it set up in my tiny little office/music room I've yet to use if for real. As most of my gigs are smaller settings, dinner, parties, etc. I'm looking forward to those in the back of the room being able to hear the music. I did crank it up at the GC and was amazed that it filled the room in spite of the wail of funky guitars and the wild beating of bongos.

Now all I have to do is learn to walk around the base without tripping.

Have a great day!

Good for you Richard!! I hope it will be all you hope it to be.
It certainly seems like a very impressive system from the info given here in the forum.
And I think it's general appearance is impressive as well.

Great ! I know you'll love it.
BTW - the "L1" is just the tower. The model of the whole unit is the PAS.
You're gonna have a ball with it ....... Good luck !

Hi Uncle Dave,

You're right of course about the system name. So far I'm loving it and no matter what, I think it's here to stay.

The stereo questions being raised don't bother me as my feeling is most listeners don't listen to hear if the sound is stereo or not. The 24 small speakers really fill the room with a presence that I believe will make the question academic.

As a matter if interest which presets are you using?

Have a great day!

I think I favor #15, but I use it flat on #00 too.
