If your recording on lets say Acid Pro 4.0 etc. etc. ......and you record 10 songs....
Is there way to make sure that when you burn to CD that all songs will output at the same Volume levels for playback even if songs are recorded at different levels?

This process is called Normalization. The type and frequency of Normalization you choose depends on a few factors but you should find a few presets which will work pretty well for music.

Donny,
That normilization is part of the mastering process.

In Nero Burning software it is in the editing menu. Also with Total Recorder.

It would be a pleasant surprise to find normalisation in the CD Creation software.

A shareware program I use "dBPowerAMP Music Converter" is primarily for "ripping" CD Audio - but theres a "Normalise" option available.

SoundForge has very flexible normalisation / compression operatiobns, including the ability to create batch jobs to do the same job on multiple files. Well worth a look.

Likewise in Adobe Audition, formerly known as Cool Edit Pro.

Donny, Sound Forge XP Studio5 will do it. You have it with the Acid Pro 3 package. You also[probaly] have it with Acid Pro 4..

You have to pay attention to how you set up your normalization. Some settings normalize the song to one level without regard to soft and loud passages. The whole song is at one level without any expression.
Some settings take the highest volume and adjust the softer passages relative to this volume.
