Hi,
For anyone that may be interested I put up 4 new short cuts, (about 1:30 out of 6/7 minute cuts) done with my MoES 8 & Chapman Stick. "Current cd in progress."

Thanks if you decide to visit and comments if you so desire are cool too.

Hope you are well
Very best to you

Catfish pie.. Right up my alley Terry. Nice tune and love the guitar work. While I might agree with Donny's critique of the drums, I also happen to like the tune a lot.

Keep up the good work..

Always glad to listen to you Terry. I'm always amazed at your influx of ideas..

On the ES ... almost certain Terry, ( just the added poly is a big deal for me ) although as always other priorities have funds going elsewhere, and despite my recent bashing of it, I'm really having second thoughts about selling the 2000 now.. I find the multipads and some of the styles ( and even a few sounds ) to be very useful and I can control the board with the Motif or PA80 in the studio, so key feel isn't that big a deal anymore. I still want a backup rig for the PA80 for the occasional live thing I do.. so... What I think I might do is find me a really cheapy Casio WK series ( 76 key and used is ok by me ) and use it to control the PSR and just keep the danged thing. Besides, my studio looks better with 3 or 4 boards rather than two...lol. Then I'll sell the Mo and somehow find the extra funds.

Oh BTW, I tried that Fantom S again and I really want to love that thing, because the OS is just so logical and cool, but some of the sounds are fair and a few downright offensive. I'm a big fan of the "Wurly", 70's style Clavi, and Rhodes sounds. The Motif does them so well.. The Fantom has the worst Wurly sound I've ever heard, and the other two aren't very impressive for me either. The rock organs .. just as bad..
What a shame, such a cool concept.. sigh. The kb guy at the store ( who is a very decent player in his own right ) hadn't messed with it much but when I played it in front of him, it appears he and I heard the same things..

AJ,
I'm controling the Tyros from the Mo now too. After having the weighted action....can't get me back on the farm again.

The Fantom S was a breeze to operate I liked probably 10 % of the sounds a lot, the guitars I thought were very poor, drums very good and the acoustic piano I have to say was my favorite that I've played yet including the Mo 3x's strike.

The seq. worked well and easy but really half the seq. that the Mo has and of course the poly though I thought it would not be a problem and it wouldn't be if I didn't use the seq. on board turned out to be one using the seq., I ran out of poly.

No doubt in my mind for the same money the MoES is 10x's the board that the Fantom S is technically.

Looks, ease of operation, screen and grand piano have to go to the Fantom S though.
