Is anyone familiar with adapting this floppy with smart media cards (up to 256mb ) for use in the PSR floppy

Hi Jerry,

From what I've been able to find out during the past week, most of the adapters require driver software, which means the driver would have to be loaded into the keyboard and accessible. Unfortunately, there is no way I know of to do this with most keyboards. I'm still trying to find an adapter that self powered and contains it's own drivers. If and when I do, I post the information on this forum.

Cheers,

Gary

Sorry, there is no such thing We've been looking at this idea for years, ever since these devices first came out. Nobody has ever figured out a way to use anything but a built in FD for other than the top end PSR's for loading styles, other than some pretty flakey jury rigged things, or the much better (and CHEAP) OneManBand program. http://www.home.zonnet.nl/JosMaas/onemanband/reactions.htm
