It's tiny, but packed with features. It converts to MP2 format ..... is that compatible with MP3 players? The effects are great and the screen is easy to read. There are better units out there, but none as small that do as much.

I've seen that in the specs it accepts cards as low as 4mb (and also ships with a 4mb card).. That's one gripe I have.. Everyone else like Zoom and Fostex are shipping there's with 32mb cards, and the new fostex ships with a 128mb card. Also I've noticed the Korg doesn't have any midi, so you can't midi sync a drum machine to it However, the screen looks great, and it does have a few built in patterns. I just think for the price they could have at least included a 32mb card.

Wow! I just looked at the manual for the Korg PXR-4, and saw that there are (3) levels or recording (high, standard, and econo) Plus it comes with a 16 mb card (not a 4mb, sweetwater giving out wrong info), soft carry case, and the adapter. Seems like a nice little 4 track.. I just saw a site on the web where you can get a 128mb (Viking) smart media card for $39.99 too. Still I wish the thing had a midi sync. I'm sure the preset patterns are decent, but I like my drum machine, and to sync them would be great.
