How do you connect this thing to keyboard ?

Via MIDI cable ?

Is it pretty much like playing an arranger keyboard except we have to push the buttons on the box to change settings and hit the fill-in buttons ?

Any delays because the keyboard and the box are not integrated together ?

I used to perform with the Roland RA800 connected to a Fatar 1176 keyboard (via midi) but sold it because I found it very inconvenient to access all the arranger buttons while playing the keyboard. The BIG problem with module units is that there's just no way to position the module so that all arranger control buttons are as easily accessible from a kb playing position as an all in one arranger & keyboard unit offers. I personally DO NOT recommend going the module route for 'live' performance. - Scott

Scott, I use to use an Apex 2 tier stand ..the top tier for the RA800 and the lower tier for the XP80..
