Hey everybody! Recently, I have not posted out here on the SynthZone lately at all and I am sorry about that. I have been working hard on my website - it will feature studio images (with pictures of the Yamaha PSR740) and, of course, some audio demos of my twin brother's music and my music too!!! I cannot wait to show the website to you all, I am really excited! The website is VERY close to being done and I hope that you enjoy my twin brother's music and my music as well! We have been having so much fun with the Yamaha PSR740 and we have composed A LOT of awesome songs! I want to show you all that we are putting a lot of effort into our music and I want you to know that we are using the studio for good!!! Music is incredible and now I actually have the opporunity to create it! I cannot wait to share it with you!

Anyways, I see that the forum has had some interesting discussions! Hopefully I can get out here and finally get the chance to reply to some of your topics. Again, sorry that I have not been out here lately!

Well, I'll let you know when the website is done...until then, see you around on the forums!
Ryan

Ryan...
I hope you will include some MIDI of your compositions. MP3s are great, but take forever to download for those on dial up connections.

I have been thinking about you and hoping you were progressing. Good to hear from you.

Hi Ryan,
Looking forward to hearing your songs.
Though GM midi format is ok, I recommend you make it available as an MP3 file instead, so EVERYONE here can hear it 'the way you intended'. Unfortunately midi can end up sounding different on everyone's different systems. - Scott

Thanks for the encouragement! I really appreciate your responses!

I am going to include MP3s of my music along with my twin brother's music as well! I am not going to include MIDI format simply because, like Scott explained, it sounds different on everyone's computer and keyboard. For instance, on my computer, MIDI just sounds horrible but on another person's computer, it MAY sound so-so. Some playback devices are better than others and the main reason why I wanted my music in MP3 format is because I did not want my music to sound different on everyone's computer, I wanted it to sound the way I intended it to sound!

But if you're worried about download times, I compressed the MP3 to the highest compression, so it only takes 1 or 2 seconds before the song plays! I could not have done this without you all here on the SynthZone! You really taught me a lot about music and provided me with a wonderful opportunity - and you even showed me how to record my music to MP3! So, without you, I could not have done it!!! You have done so much for me, I cannot say thank you enough! You all are so wonderful and I value your advice, it teaches me a lot. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE HELP!

See you all around and I cannot wait to share the website with you!
Ryan
