I Have recently acquired a 9KPro and I have found a software bug and I am asking if other users have the same problem. I have installed the latest OS ver 2.1

After using and exiting from Styles Direct From Floppy and then going into the Music Data Base, any selection in the MDB does not respond and the 9000Pro still plays the last Style that was loaded from floppy. The only way out of this appears to be a reboot.
(Selecting any of the Factory or Flash styles after Styles Direct From Floppy works fine).

Yamaha in the UK do not appear to have an email contact in which to report problems. My other board being a Roland gives excellent email customer support in the UK.

Hello Graham UK

With OS version 2.01 one can store Styles of the fixed disk in a Registreierung

Attention:

The file linked with the Stylels max. 250 pieces of mash with DiskDirect its!

In addition the Styles in this file with numbers should begin like 001_...... sty to 250_.....sty

that is important, because not the path but only the Styleplatz is stored

in addition has I pdf a file

this file is made in German
http://home.a-city.de/robert.mueller/pdf/Style_ueber_DiskDirect.pdf

this file is made in English
http://home.a-city.de/robert.mueller/pdf/Style_ueber_DiskDirect-E.pdf

my pdf assistance becomes however even all into English translated

distarry, Thank you for checking that out for me. I will do a re-install of OS ver 2.01. and check the board again. Everything else is working fine. This is my first experience with using a vocal harmoniser as my Roland EM2000 does not have one. I am pleased that I can reduce my terrible voice and just have the harmony coming through. If you have any experience of vocal harmoniser settings, throw them at me.

I like to use the KaraokAuto, VocodAuto U, VocodAuto L, Vocoder XG,
VocodMode U, VocodMode L,ACapolla Mix, ACapMenQuar.
I leave the 3 band EQ set on the default setting, Under the Vocal Harmony part Vocoder TR it is set to Mute, off.
Bal. D,W5 chord XF mic Vol. 100
I like to use Reverb the Hall 1,2,etc.etc. & stage 1, & 2, etc.etc.
I use a mixer so I have the mic set to output 1 & run that to the mixer then control EQ, Vol. & such from the mixer.
I hope this helps
Enjoying the 9000 PRO
