It costs as much as my keyboard! What a neat invention though! No more turning pages! Wait awhile the price will go down. Thats alot of $$$ for an ebook. Ebooks are only around $300? I haven't looked lately maybe they are more.

It looks cool! I love toys! I'd buy it for, say, $200.

Dave,

What a great discovery! Can I borrow the $999 from you (I'll pay you back as soon as I retire).

Kidding aside, it's definitely a cool toy. No more digging through the books, no more hunting for that song sheet that I put away for safe keeping and now can't remember where I put it. In a few years, we'll all buy one at Walmart.

Steve

Suspect you could do the same with a PC & scanner, tho' it would cost as much and be a pain on stage, if you have to read dots your performance will suffer.....leave it for the synphony cats.
Regardless looking at a monitor or screen all night will probably only screw up your eyes (& no more chick viewing in the room.)
Good filing sustem tho' .....for your old age. :rolleyes.

I'm with Woodside on this - I hate reading on stage. I just posted the link because I know everyone doesn't agree with that method of performing.
The more you are connected to a "crutch" - the less you can "connect" to the crowd.
