I am not overly religious, but gee, how suddenly all your problems can seem so small. I echo DonM's topic. What a great country this is. Gerard in Florida.

Dear Gerard I often think of how great our whole world is and I make mistakes but I try to focus on all humans and indeed all things as essentilly loving and this has been my experience after 22 yrs working with it. Best wishes Pierce in Ireland.

Hi Guardman,
My God is an awesome God! He's always in control. Sometimes He will allow the devil to
stick his ugly head in. I don't know why He allows so many inosent people to die, but thats why we always need to be ready,He doesn't promise use tomorrow! How many of those people that went to work Tuesday morning knew they would never go to lunch! That is so sad!
Many of those people are in Heaven right now!
Some are not! Are soul lives for eternity somewhere. Hell was not made for man it was made for Satan & his angels. There will be a lot more people going there, than to Heaven.
Sorry guys I didn't mean to preach, but this is so strong on my heart, after this sinceless, hatefull attack on inosent people.
If they wearn't saved it's to late for them.
That's why it's so importent to be ready!!
Hi Pierce,
Loving one another, is one of Gods commandments! If we can't love one another, which we can see, how can we love a God which we can't see. God is a God of love, but
He is also a God of rath, judgment will come!
Our country will hunt those down that are responsable for the cruel & insain act.
God Bless you all.
Nobby

As long as man lives there will be war. The longest period of uninterrupted world peace was the Pax Romana (Roman Peace). During this era, no country waged war against another country for 1000 years. The power of Rome was so overwhelming that no country dared to revolt or put soldiers in the field. It is said that when Rome was strong, her citizens could travel the world in safety, and that when Rome was weak, bandits preyed on the innocent on every street corner.

If we intend to have peace, then we must also have great strength. It is good for a nation to have friends but it is better to be feared. It's time to talk softy and carry a big stick. Incidentally, the Book of Revelation talks about another 1000 years of peace to happen sometime in the future. During that time, Christ is to rule that nations with an iron fist -- such is the nature of man.

Sorry Uncle Dave but world peace is simply "pie in the sky" until the nature of mankind undergoes a drastic change.

During my 22 years keeping adolescents in our house I learned much from it. Brendan came here from a probation hostel and continuet to steal when he stole from us (small amounts) we found it hard, we were challenged by it and tried all the usual things to get him to stop, eg lectures, exhortations, recovery programmes. In desperation I asked the person who asked us to keep Brendan for help. He said there are no real consequences to his stealing, I was astonished as he had been beaten jailed etc and I said this but I was advised that these things were not consequences they were punishments !! and I was also advised that Brendan stole because he was not loved and when he was Physically beaten for stealing he knew he was not loved. So thus informed and with some further growth on my part (and my wife's part also) we continued. Some time later Brendan Took my Van (music van -- mitsubishi L300 almost new ) and crashed. I held him as he lay on the ground and I told him that he was more important to me the any piece of tin or gold. Brendan never stole again. Basically we allowed him to feel the consequences of his action and if we had punished him his attention would have been taken to the punishment. He felt the consequences and he felt loved - love is the most powerfull thing I know but it is hard to use it at times. Anger can make us love or fear. This and many more things happened in our home.
