Working it is pretty straight forward and eady to use live... And sounds so much better then VH2... Not to mention superior tracking of your vocal also... Great unit.

Your very welcome John.....
IMO Yamaha really needs to take a lesson from TC Helicon
The difference is astounding in quality, tone, tracking,
and every other aspect of Vocal Harmony using a keyboard.

Do you think its better than the TC Helicon Harmony M ? that seems to have been the standard for keyboardists.

Korg was smart pairing up with TC Helicon.
Maybe, TC signed a agreement not to also do Yamaha, who knows....
That would have been smart on Korgs part.

It will be interesting to see how TC will license it’s vocal harmony technology now that they’re owned by Behringer. With all of Yamaha’s resources...it’s hard to believe they can’t produce technology that rivals TC/Behringer.

Bill it definitely the VK has more live usable features for the keyboard player and is easier to use......
both have the TC helicon quality sound and tracking.

I am convinced that any of the keyboard harmonizers can do a decent job.. It is usually human error that gives poor results. smile

I would say 9 out of 10 folks are not setting the thing up right..

Folks use the wrong settings, wrong balance, wrong mic, wrong cable (impedance) grin … and mostly wrong time to use it shocked

Here is a quick demo to show the G70 harmonizer, most folks have never heard a G70 smile

The first part on the recording is straight up … the second part starting at 2:25 is pitch correction (I used my best Chas imitation on this part grin ).
