Hi,
I was browsing the PSR forum , came across this post.

Pretty amazing the capability of some people to tweak up styles.

Put a link, rather than the clip as it mentions the styles used.

UPDATED
Hi Guys
Thought I better add original link to post as well. Should have done this in the first place. Sorry.
https://www.psrtutorial.com/forum/index.php/topic,52960.msg414655/topicseen.html#msg414655

My post was about the capabilities of some people who are able to tweak styles , especially the more difficult ones.

Wasn’t really about the recordings themselves. The Genos I believe was done off videos

Sorry for the confusion .

Hi Donny, no. ( or at least I hope not, I an always cheat and go look up your post again. ) Haha . LittleBlue tv screen.
I actually have a link to your post, in my iPad notes, just in case I do forget how to do it. I do that with posts that have helpful info.

The guy mentions the styles on the main page, thought might be of interest.

Can’t get over the talent of some of these people to tweak up the styles.

Rikki, I almost hesitate to comment... but someone has got to say it smile

The first offering has more dynamics and sounds more present.
The second offering has been filtered to cut the resonance too much, and sounds dull.

The second offerings seem warmer and clear, but lost character compared to the first offerings. Maybe overdone with compression too.

I did not check but I am pretty sure the first offerings are PSR and the second offerings are Genos smile

I better let Donny show me the Genos before I draw any other opinions. grin

Hi Fran,
so you agree , a pretty good job at tweaking?
I tried the original Genos styles on my sx900, to me they didn’t sound too good at all a fair bit of tweaking required, drum kits needing fixing etc.
Going to see if his tweaked styles sound better on the sx.

Wow - not sure what I was listening to, but in the opening sequence, the first one sounded much more alive than the second one. Sounds like they draped a cloth over the speakers when they played the second one ... it was that drastic. Anyone else agree?

Rikki, the basic "guts" of the styles sounded similar, but didn't you think the sonic footprint was very different between the two?

I gave it a second listen, and in some cases I like #1 better, and in other cases I like #2 .... I'm not sure how equal the comparison is.
