I ran across this...I think I am speechless.....
I know it's OT...but had to share this with everyone.

I wander how close we could get to this performance on an arranger (layers, multi-recording??)

But I think Genos sounds are good enough to do something like that...

That was Beautiful ,Lee.
Young guy did a great job.
One of my favourite John Barry themes.
It was a brilliant movie too, though maybe more of a chick flick. Haha

A nice piano arpeggio style might do it, But to get those soaring strings, tend to think it would have to be sequenced.

I have played it on my keyboard , didn’t sound like that though. Haha

Wow Lee,
Thank you for bringing it up.
Just checked one of the online music stores to see if it was available as a solo piano score. It was, I found sheet music for at least half a dozen John Barry movie themes. Remember many years back , ( probably 20 eek!) while I was still playing, couldn’t find any, now 6 of them wow.

Going to have to start practicing . Haha

Thanks Lee - this song is one my wife (and I) absolutely love! It is a beautiful chord sequence and a wonderful melody too. And when you team it with the movie, well, tears will be fallin'. smile Just sayin. Great movie, great song! Thanks!

Thanks to all for commenting...Now you all know a little more about me and the music I like.

When I get a keyboard again (soon) I am going to make an attempt at that song. Of course it won't be like that, but I have a couple ideas to use chrord looper.

Rikki, yes, yo and I are somewhat alike in that I used to play around too much with the board and not play songs enough, I think you loved tweeking styles!

Let's play some music, and very well.

I'm fairly confident that you could make an even better arrangement and rendition using most high-end arranger keyboards. I am positive my friend Walter, in South America could put together something incredible.

All the best,
