That's pretty useful. I've got a cheapo 10" UK tablet with 2g ram and 32gb storage and that's ok. This has 4g ram so should have no worries. The 32g is a bit borderline when big Windows updates come in, as it can have insufficient free space. When this happens I've had to use the Windows Media Creation Tool to create stand-alone update media on the SD card that I've also fitted, Windows insists on using main storage for everything to do with auto-installed updates. For this reason alone I'd look for a 64gb main storage version, which hopefully will follow soon.

Hi John,

This a pretty good deal for a stand alone music reader to use with for ex. Mobile Sheets, Open Text, or any other music reader. I would dedicate it strictly to the keyboard and music files, and not use it as my main PC. It's pretty light and portable and the carrying case is a plus. Once set up you wouldn't really have to do any Windows updates.

I currently use a Dell 19" "all in one" and rarely update it since it is strictly dedicated as my music display.

The manufacturer states" Storage that can be expanded up to 128GB using the Micro SD card reader, or through attaching external storage solutions via the USB ports."

At $349 I'm tempted to purchase on Amazon to use as a backup, or use the Dell as backup since this is lighter and more portable.

Regards,

Jerryghr

Storage can indeed be expanded using a micro SD card - I've got a 128gb card installed in my tablet. Ditto external USB drives. Works fine for all my personal files.

However even though your micro SD card is installed in a specific slot on the tablet it is nevertheless considered to be external storage.

And because it is external storage Windows will not use it to expand the 32gb primary storage device, nor will it se it for any temporary file storage mid-update. You are still stuck with that limit.

Believe me I've tried.....
