I had an old friend that did this all the time... usually with his Yamaha PSR keyboards.. Tom use to amaze me with his ideas.. and he was a Big Band arranger.. played trumpet in one key and arranger keyboard in another key at the same time. confused

Maybe Fran is referring to the trumpet being a transposing instrument.

By the way, Russian speaking folks seem to make all kinds of modules out of arranger keyboards.

I know, I was just teasing Fran. There IS such a thing as a 'C' trumpet, that would probably make things a lot easier smile.

....or better yet, just hit the old transpose button on the arranger. That should do it smile.
