The singer's name is Mickey, and the keyboardist is Christian Leskumpels, hence the group name, "Les Leskumpels". They're probably father and son, and they're French.

Chris was previously employed by well-known car manufacturer Peugeot. After 10 years of working on the assembly line, he decided to go after his dream, and sing professionally.

Christian, on the other hand, had a "boulangerie" (bakery), and loved baking bread and pastries. One day, while visiting his friend's home, he was introduced to an arranger keyboard, and the rest is history.

Please take the above with many grains of salt; I just made it up!

They really sound fantastic, to me. His vocals were incredible, crisp, clear, very clean sounding. Same with the keyboard.

Kumpel is German and means 'pal', so the name somehow seems like a French-German blending. Maybe they are from Alsace/Elsass, where the older generation still partly speaks Elsässisch, the Alemannic dialect. Just a guess...

I liked it.
