Does anybody know of a good software emulation of the Wersi organ sounds? Dan at vArranger listed http://www.edv-services.com/ws2_e.html on his forum. Is that a good emulation of Wersi? Or is there some other VST plug-ins?

Thanks.

There is no dedicated VST for Wersi instruments yet, however you could have a look for a used Wersi OX7 Midi Module, which pop up from time to time, as this is currently the closest you can get. Really it all depends on how accurate you want the emulation, (And what vintage of Wersi you wish to emulate) so it is worth giving the VST you mention a try, however I found it to be more Hammond than Wersi. (Although it is no substitute for the proper Hammond Emulators out there either)
Hope this helps
Bill

I like the euro organ in the Tyros 5 .. comes quite close to Wersi organs..

You might have to check out some sample sets for vst samplers.

I dont know if the listed VST from dann is any good, most often dann lista free vsts, which makes it easy to test them yourself.. otherwise you could check if there is a free trial..

Thanks, Bill. I will keep an eye for the Wersi OX7 Midi Module. Bachus,I heard the Euro organ sounds in the Tyros and I liked them, too. The reason I was looking for the Wersi organ sound is that I have a couple of Wersi organ sounds on a theater organ sound board in my Desktop arranger by V3 Sound. They are hauntingly beautiful sounds, and I thought I would look for more Wersi organ sounds. I tried out the Wersi VST, and they sound more like a bad emulation of the B3 as Bill pointed out.

Thanks for the info. I wish the samples were available in native Kontakt format.

I thought you wanted them as a VSTi?

From the comments in the video, it seems he doesn't do them as Kontakt instruments.

He does have the samples as wav files.

Right. I was looking for a a VSTi and as you know Kontakt can be played in a VST host. I am not familiar with playing "raw" wav files in Kontakt or any other host. All the sounds of the youtube videos you listed are pretty nice, though.
